Abstract
This paper reports on the 8th.Color Imaging Conference, which was held in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA from Nov.7 to Nov.10, 2000, by IS&T and SID. Presentations consisted of three Keynote presentations, thirty-six Oral presentations, and twenty-six Interactive presentations. The following ten sessions were organized in the Oral presentations: (1)Color theory, (2)Human color vision, (3)Color science, (4)Color workflow, (5)Color image analysis, (6)Image rendering, (7)Image capture, (8)Image display, (9)Gamut mapping, (10)Printing. From the viewpoint of over all observations, color appearance, spectral imaging, and implementation of human spatial property to imaging system should be noticeable.
