Abstract
The T-shaped ring head consists of a londitudinal high Bs laminated film core as leading pole, one turn coil around its tip and a transverse low Bs film core. This proposed structure emanates single pole head-like recording field on perpendicular single layer medium, resulting high density performance. Flux flows through magnetization rotation in the londitudinal laminated film core with suitable Hk, resulting high rate and recording sensitivity. The head fabrication is as follows, integration of the londitudinal cores on virgin wafers, stacking and glass bonding into a block, slicing into embedded wafers, integration of the transeverse cores, and machining into individual contact sliders.
