Abstract
Data broadcasting services which provide information of moving objects on TV screen, are studied. A basic scheme which uses BML(Broadcast Markup Language) for multimedia presentation and event messages for transmitting dynamic link information, is shown first. An experimental system for confirming basic functions of proposed services is developed. The experimental system consists of dynamic link information production part, MPEG-2 video encoder, data multiplex unit, 8PSK modulator and BS digital receivers. By using this experimental system, it is clarified that event message reception and processing time using BS digital receiver is approximately 0.10-0.17 seconds. Feasibility of these services and merits of proposed human interface are also verified.
