Abstract
In this report, we propose an encryption method for JPEG2000 image code. With the concept of considering both encryption and image coding, the proposed method encrypts some parts of JPEG2000 image code selectively by exploiting JPEG2000's layer function. In this encryption, an encrypted image code can inherit the original functions of JPEG2000. Furthermore, the computation amount for encryption is lower. Our simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
