Abstract
Ce-activated SrGa_2S_4 phosphor thin-films have been fabricated by multi-source deposition with a process temperature less than 500℃. The thin-film thickness is 0.25 μm. The crystal grains are very fine with the grain size of 0.14×0.04 μm averagely. With electron-beam excitation of an accelerating voltage of 5 kV and a current density of 60 μA/cm^2, the homogenous blue emission with a luminance of 1000 cd/m^2, an efficacy of 1 lm/W, and the color coordinates of (0.137, 0.123) has been obtained.
