Abstract
This paper describes a new blending method of human motion from some fundamental motion models previously obtained by motion capture system. In motion blending, there are some researches which consider only joint positions and angles of human body ; however, in this paper, the joint speed and the acceleration are considered in addition to the position and the angle. Some fundamental motions are captured by motion capture system and a blended motion is generated by considering, weights as the masses at some parts of human body. Then, the generated motion is revised with dynamics and finally more exact motion is generated. This method enables us to generate arbitrary composite motions from some fundamental motion models.
