Abstract
The magnetic characteristics and nano-structures of CoPt-TiO_2/Ru/Pt/SiO_2 layered magnetic films were investigated as a function of the thickness of Ru under-layer using X-ray diffraction and Auger electron spectroscopy. It was found that He of layered films increased with the thickness of Ru under-layer. Above result was found to be caused by the fact that the grain size increase and high hep c-axis orientations of CoPt film were obtained by the increase of the thickness of Ru under-layer.
