Abstract
This paper proposes a simple tablet digitizer using a cellular phone camera, which outputs the coordinate of a point on a paper indicated, for example, by a finger. First, a perspective image including the whole paper is obtained by the camera, and then the paper area as well as the indicated point are extracted from the image. The coordinate of the point is calculated by applying a bisection algorithm on the paper area. Experimental results show that the proposed technique is promising in an actual environment.
