Abstract
A magneto-optical spatial light modulator array driven by spin-transfer switching is proposed for applications of holographic devices. The spin-transfer switching technique is suitable for controlling of their modules even at a scale of subwavelength. The subwavelength periodicity allows for the high resolution spatial light modulation, which is expected for the use as high-performance holographic devices. In this paper basic structure of magneto-optical module, and its operation methods are discussed. And the diffraction characteristics are also discussed for the use as a holographic device.
