Abstract
This paper is concerned with an estimation of amplitude modification (α) and distance order of propagation (β) which are included in 1-ray and 2-rays models to deal with the electric field distribution in complicated propagation environments. First we introduce 1-ray and 2-rays model, and we also consider two modification factors (α, β). Next, we determine the two parameters α and β by comparing with Hata's equations which are widely used for field prediction in urban, suburban and rural areas. Finally, we discuss the estimated two parameters α and β obtained by numerical computations.
