Abstract
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a type of multi-carrier scheme, which has been widely used in wideband digital communication systems. Recently, a novel technique called Compressive Sensing (CS) has been proposed to estimate the Channel State Information (CSI) for OFDM system, which provides an improvement of channel estimation performance even in the doubly-selective fading channel. However, the high computational complexity of CS restricts its implementation of practical applications. In this paper, a new method using 2-Step CS-based (2-SCS) channel estimation is proposed, which can effectively reduce the computational complexity. The Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method gives accurate channel estimation performance for OFDM system.
