Abstract
We activated a photoreceptor by using noise masking in (ΔL/L, ΔM/M) plane and performed the detection experiment with the Gaussian test. In this study, we investigated the relationship between individual difference of the chromatic detection thresholds and the individual L/M cone ratio by testing chromatic detection experiments with L and M cone noise masking. At first we predicted how the thresholds became when L/M cone ratio influence the chromatic detection thresholds. The thresholds of subject MS and TM turned out similar that it was predicted from the L/M cone ratio, but the thresholds of subject TK turned out different that it was predicted from the L/M cone ratio.
