Abstract

Ever since 2009, Sony had strengthen the efforts to deliver the next generation of picture experiences in five (5) key elements under the theme of “Beyond HD”.Now, such Beyond High-definition images, such as Ultra High Resolution (4K, 8K, 12K...), Wider Color Gamut (BT2020) and High Dynamic Range (HDR), are becoming true.This documents describes Sony's past and ongoing efforts to realize 4K HDR, numbers of collaborative trials with our valued customers and further initiatives in the near future.
