Abstract
By changing the head movement periods, we clarified that perceived depths from monocular motion parallax have the clear differences. The monocular perceived depths by changing head movement periods and widths were estimated in active head movement and passive head movement. In spite of different head movement widths of 15 cm and 5 cm, best depth dependency can be obtained at movement period of 2.0 seconds. This indicates that influence of head movement period to monocular perceived depth is larger than that of head movement speed, and that the time interval of switching the direction of motion of the stimulus affects the monocular depth perception.
