Abstract
In emergency, the way of waking up television receivers by sending a special signal from the broadcaster has been realized. However, such mobile receivers would miss or wrongly detect the wake-up signal due to reception bit errors. On the other hand, it should be argued whether such receivers would continue waiting for the wake-up signal all the time or not, since a disaster would rarely occur. In this report, reception performance of the wake-up signal is analyzed calculating the mutual information to be obtained from a such wake-up receiver.
