CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS FREE ACCESSMulti-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems with precoding have been studied intensively. However, those systems have feedback delay that causes severe performance degradation. To cope with this problem, an MU-MIMO system using a collaborative interference cancellation (CIC) scheme is proposed. In this scheme, received signal sharing among collaborated mobile stations is employed. There are variable inter-terminal communication, and suitable inter-terminal communication may depends on situation. In this report, a system to compare two properties of inter-terminal communications is made. CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS FREE ACCESSThis paper presents an overloaded multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) scheme that realizes signal separation among terminals by orthogonal codes. In multi-user MIMO systems, block diagonalization has been well investigated. However, the calculation of weight coefficients requires the channel state information (CSI) of all the terminals. The accurate CSI feedback needs a large amount of frequency resources. In addition, if the channel correlation between the terminals is high, nulls cannot be formed at the same time. Thus, this paper proposes an overloaded MIMO-OFDM scheme with orthogonal codes that separates signals for different terminals without the CSI. The proposed scheme realizes orthogonality among the signals for the terminals while throughput reduction by spreading is compensated through with an overloaded MIMO technique. Numerical results obtained through computer simulation show that the proposed scheme achieves better bit error rate performance as compared to that of MU-MIMO on a Rayleigh fading channel when the number of users is two and each user has two receive antennas.View full abstractDownload PDF (816K) -

However, such mobile receivers would miss or wrongly detect the wake-up signal due to reception bit errors. On the other hand, it should be argued whether such receivers would continue waiting for the wake-up signal all the time or not, since a disaster would rarely occur. CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS FREE ACCESSThe technical standard of leaked radio waves in the intermediate frequency band (2.2 GHz to 3.2 GHz) will be applied, which is used for receiving the 12-GHz band satellite broadcasting in Japan. However, it is difficult to measure the leaked radio wave with a conventionally measuring instrument because the leaked radio wave is weak and wideband modulated waves. In this study, we proposed the measurement method for the leaked wave from the receiving system. As a result, we confirmed that the measurement accuracy of the proposed system was less than 1.8 dB when the power level of the leaked wave was 10 dB lower than that of the technical standard.View full abstractDownload PDF (553K) -

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS FREE ACCESSReport on the studio lighting equipment of TV Tokyo and BS Japan New Headquarters, which began operation in November 2016. All studio, including a large general-purpose studio with a floor area of about 660 m² and a height of Horizont exceeding 10 m, are all LEDized. In order to comprehensively improve the quality of lighting in program and content production and realization of high energy saving effect in consideration of the environment, we have newly developed throughout the equipment and the systems. As a result, we realized a clean studio that leads to energy saving and reduction of CO2 emissions, making it possible to reduce power consumption to about 1/10 compared with conventional halogen studio.View full abstractDownload PDF (1213K) -
