Abstract
A novel gray-scale secret image hiding scheme for multiple binary halftone images based on error diffusion is proposed. Conventional scheme based on error diffusion halftoning technique only supports binary or ternary images as a secret image. While each share pixel value is only dependent on the pixel of secret image in processing in the conventional scheme, the pixel value of a share image reflects neighborhood pixel values of decoded secret image in the proposed scheme. A simulation result shows that the proposed method can reproduce high quality gray-scale secret image.
