7-7 Automatic initial contour generation of active contour model for region extraction of electron microscope tomogram

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method which generates an initial contour automatically for region extraction of electron microscope tomogram using active contour model. A present system requires operators to set up the initial contour sequentially and manually. Our method reduces these procedure and helps generating 3D model reconstruction.
