4-9 Personal Identification System on the Chain Coded Expressions of Isodensity Maps

Abstract

A personal identification system based on the chain coded isodensity maps is presented. Isodensity maps can be converted to the chain codes. By using the coded isodensity lines, the improvement of the processing performance can be expected in terms of the processing time and the memory size required.
