2-13 Comparison of independency measure for sound source separation using ICA

Abstract

When Independence Component Analysis is used for Blind Source Separation, it is very important to choose the appropriate measure of independency. In this paper three kinds of measures, namely cumulant, negentropy and cross-correlation function are compared through the experiment for sound BSS.
