6-6 Improvement Scheme of 3D Position Estimation for Occluded Contours on Visual Hull

Abstract

In this paper, improvement scheme of 3D position estimation especially for occluded contours is proposed in order to achieve a precise shape reconstruction. To seek the high precision, the proposed scheme can utilize the sufficient surface points for the shape reconstruction by analyzing the tangent line from a camera principal point to the real surface.
