8-11 A Study on Key Frame Selection and Image Stitching for Video Mosaicing

Abstract

This paper describes a video mosaicing method which generates a panoramic still image from video sequences shot by a handheld camera. The method automatically selects key frames and stitches them together. In order to reduce unwanted artifacts due to the stitching, the graph-cut algorithm is employed for seeking invisible seams in overlapped areas of the key frames.
