12-12 Improved Geometric Verification in Specific Object Recognition

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new geometric verification method, where the distances between a query feature vector and the k-nearest neighbor vectors among a large number of random feature vectors are utilized to confirm the reliability of feature matches. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed in experiments.
