Abstract
In the previous work, we developed an approximation method based on a linear combination of deformable continuous functions for monochrome images. In this paper, we extend this method to color images composed of RGB signals. Since the RGB signals have a similarity in their local shapes, we introduce a vector-valued function which is defined as the 2D Gabor function with three amplitude factors.
