Abstract
Affective style of motion is essential for human communication. Literature has reported that the motion velocity plays a crucial role in expressing affective style. However, there is no statistical analysis that focuses on affective motions from multiple persons and motion categories. Therefore, this paper provides a brief result of such a database, which confirms that the motion velocity in angry and happy styles are faster than neutral one while that in sad style is slower.
