Abstract
We previously reported the image sensor communication system which transmits information from a liquid crystal display (LCD) to a camera-equipped mobile device. In this system, two-dimensional Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) with Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) is used to generate information embedded images shown on the display. In this paper, usage of pilot signals is investigated for the purpose of improving reliability of the system.
