Abstract
Autonomous robots are becoming widespread and expanding their applications. For such robots, it's necessary to understand the shape of surrounding objects and the position of obstacles precisely by range sensors such as 3D Vision Sensor. When measuring distance by 3D Vision Sensor, the problem is the measurement error caused by secondary reflection light and transmitted light. We studied a method for suppressing measurement error by using additional projection patterns with thin bright bars.
