Frequency-based Projection Mapping for Texture Appearance Control

Abstract

Projection mapping is a useful technique to control material perception. In this study, we propose a method to control texture appearance by a frequency-based projection mapping. We conducted subjective evaluation experiments to validate the feasibility of our method. The experimental results show out method is effective for texture appearance control.
