Authors reported a case of immediate reconstruction using sternocleidomastoid myocutaneous flap in resection for tongue cancer.

A subtotal glossectomy, a resection of the floor of the mouth and a left neck dissection were done. lmmediate reconstruction was done with a sternocleidomastoid myocutaneous flap.
This myocutaneous flap was effective to reconstruct the tongue and the floor of the mouth after a resection of tongue cancer.
