In this paper, we consider the admissibility problem of descriptor systems. By using Lyapunov function we show that certain property of the derivative of the system guarantees the admissibility of problems. Then, we propose a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the system to guarantee such admissibility. Finally, we present some numerical examples to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
