Abstract
The maximum likelihood estimation approach to extract a target track is effective in high clutter environments. However, there may exist many global/local maximum likelihood points which are not originated from the target and they make the estimate inaccurate. In this paper we propose an improvement method of the estimation accuracy by confirming the track continuity.
