Abstract

Control for a pneumatic isolation table is considered in the present paper. The plant includes the input-time-delay and the on-off drive for the control input. It is known that the stabilization of this kind of systems is difficult by conventional linear feedback controls such as the optimal regulator because of the existence of the time-delay and the on-off drive. So, we propose a control design procedure for compenstation of such nonlinearities. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by experimental results.
