Abstract
Wikipedia is a huge encyclopedia which includes a lot of proper nouns. Wikipedia is used for many application tasks in the area of Natural Language Processing(NLP) . If these nouns would be available in an existing thesaurus, it would be very useful for NLP area. Therefore, we propose an automatic method for enhancing existing thesaurus by extracting knowledge from Wikipedia.
