Abstract
Recently, many kinds of life support robots are developed, and we can expect that robots blend with our daily life in near future. Natural human-robot interaction is a key technology for realizing it. Thus, we focus on human pointing gesture that is one of the most frequent communication method in our conversation. We propose a method to predict pointing direction before the end of the gesture using Minimum-Jerk Model with a range image sensor.
