Abstract
In this paper, an automatic data transmission system for CubeSat using a GPS receiver is suggested. In the last few decades many nations and organizations have launched different kinds of satellites in space to collect data from satellites. Usually these satellites are large and heavy and require huge expense, but pico-satellites (CubeSat) are cheaper and more effective in collecting data. Low-earth orbit satellites with the system proposed in this paper can calculate their communication area with the ground station by using a GPS receiver and send data automatically. This system can improve communication between the satellite and the ground station.
