Abstract
Recently, therapeutic robots have been studied in therapy of children with autism. The previous studies have advanced robots which encourage autistic children's communication skills, in particular, non-verbal aspect. This study focuses that autistic children have difficulty of force control when the physical contact occurs in social interaction. Based on our pilot studies, we suggest new robot model to train touch force control for children with autism.
