Abstract
Whenever product demands and/or production circumstances change, decisions about scheduling and operation of production systems are made based on accumulated know-how, taking account of various criteria such as production efficiency, product quality, safety and environmental load. The final goal of this work is the development of modeling method for supporting decision making that can deal with frequent and unexpected environmental changes. To attain the goal, we have to analyze the accumulated know-how and model the decision process made by experts. This paper first presents modeling of decision processes based on piecewise affine models by analyzing a set of operation data and then discusses the decision making process model.
