Abstract

In this paper, we attempt to construct a NUI system for TV operation. This system uses a depth camera, and it enables to control TV by combination of gesture recognition and recognition of the number of fingertip. We use a trajectory of right hand position for gesture recognition, and use a depth image of right hand for recognition of the number of fingertip. In an experiment, we evaluate recognition rates of the proposed NUI system.
