It is expected that a large amount of photovoltaic (PV) power generators and storage batteries are installed. In this situation, day ahead schedule for thermal plants is focused. To solve this problem, a method has been proposed, which can obtain the optimal power generation schedule for given demand prediction interval as interval by analyzing monotonicity of optimal solution. The method is applicable to a problem considering multiple thermal plants and charge/discharge efficiency of storage batteries. However, the upper and lower limits of power generation for each thermal plant is not considered. Thus, to generalize a problem to realistic situations, we focus on a problem considering additional constraints, namely, the upper and lower limits of power generation constraints. Furthermore, we show monotonicity of the optimal solution is guaranteed.
