Abstract
The purpose of this study was to obtain knowledge for applying the nursing theory in critical care nursing. The previous report(part 1)shows the nature of transformation of nurse's as a whole and researcher's recognition through the case studies by applying Usui's Nursing Theory in collaboration with nurses group in the field of critical care nursing.
This report shows the methodological knowledge for applying Usui's Nursing Theory in critical care nursing through the case studies by qualitative analysis of the interaction between nurses and researcher. The following are two outcomes of case studies.
1)Transformation and development of nurse's recognition was brought by interaction between two diffident recognitions, the former is recognition of nurse, who have a rich images of patients, and the latter is recognition of researcher, who is capable of drawing many-sided image of patients from nurse's recognition by using general nursing theory.
2)In order to apply Usui's Nursing Theory in critical care nursing, it is useful to practice nursing by determining the direction for solving nursing and patients problems by illuminating with nursing theory, then to restruct the practice and evaluate the practice. It is also important of stimulation with nurses among different study levels for practice and to secure condition of functioning with individual and working environment.
