Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the process which accepts the disease of dilated-cardiomyopathy patient. The participants were 5 men who have announced the diagnosis of the dilated-cardiomyopathy. Dates were collected by participant observation and semi-structural interviews with three times and were analyzed by modified Grounded Theory Approach.
The results indicated that there were four category; <It parries> <It receives> <It is possible to force to accept> <It accepts the present situation>. In those category, the dilated-cardiomyopathy patient accepted a disease gradually to estimate clinical condition, a symptom, a treatment and daily life.
