Abstract
The author believes that saving the periodontal ligament is the most important element for a successful autotransplantation. In this study, one case that the problem is caused by the mismatch of donor tooth and recipient site, and the other that saving of the periodontal ligament was attempted by adding orthodontic force to the donor tooth before transplanting are reported.
