Abstract
The paper reports the retrospective consideration of diagnosis and treatment procedure in Cleft lip and palete patient for long term treatment. To prove the present state and remaining problems in orthodontic occlusal reconstruction for the malocclusions, re-evaluation of our present diagnosis method and procedure were recommended as follows:
1) Necessity of new image analysis with quantitive and three-dimensional evaluation for occlusal reconstruction at cover a wide range of maxillo-facial area.
2) Development of procedure that evaluation of interrelationship among Function-Occlusion-Skeleton.
3) Evolution of orthodontic method for lightening the burden imposed on patients.
