Abstract
It is fundamental principle to establish stable mandibular positioning and to construct proper anterior guidance in severe bite-collapsed cases. By using standard numerical value of articulator provisional restoration, it is possible to find the correct aesthetics and function of proper anterior guidance. It is difficult to reflect inherent mandibular movement on the provisional restoration when it cannot be reproduced on the articulator In such cases, it is useful to use a sandblasted metal crown for tooth guidance or a functional occlusal surface.
Premature contact and occlusal interference will be recorded on the metal surface with this method. By employing the occlusal adjustment rule, the diseased area will be recovered under optimal conditions. This clinical report shows each step of the procedure.
