Abstract

In recent years, there has been a need to expand the functions of museums, such as in responding to prompting diverse expressions and contributing to social inclusion. In this paper, as a case study of a local public art museum, we show that The Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu has been working on a artist-in-residence, art project, and social design project in recent years, and collaboration is carried out beyond the region and public sector, and their relationships become wide and strong. And it shows the latest role of the museum.
