Abstract

I examined issues of a cultural policy for "creative ageing" in aged society, referring Arendt’s theory about the role of the "Action in public realm" as a clue. Based on the study of a characteristic cases, the cultural activities aiming at "creative ageing" contribute to cultural succession in the future generation and to accumulation in community cultural resources and the networking and collaboration of artists, enterprisers and public organization play important role as the foundation which promotes cultural activities.
