Abstract
This study is the research on the activities for the formation of amenity by the Ohmihachiman JC. The activities had three purposes. One of them was the preservation of the Hachiman-bori (Hachiman moat). The Ohmihachiman JC realized it about ten years ago. And then they aimed to realize the others. The others were what Ohmihachiman to be the commercial culture city and the establishment of the International Museum of Commerce. These are not realized now. But now is the best time to think about the value of them.
