Abstract
This paper reports on the effectiveness of cross-curricular instruction in French and other subjects. French language classes were designed at three high schools based on the content of subjects such as Home Economics, Music, Foreign Languages (German and Chinese), and History. Through data analysis, the significance and potential of interdisciplinary collaboration were explored. The results showed that the cross-curricular instruction of French and other subjects was well received by high school students, and that the students took an active interest in content from other subjects presented as part of French language classes.
