Abstract
The "Foreign Language" section of the Common Entrance Examination for University Entrance, which has been in effect since January 2021, is offered in five languages: English, German, French, Chinese, and Korean, but the year after 2025, when it will be implemented under the new Courses of Study, is yet to be determined. News and newspaper reports are mixed about what kind of consideration is being made at the National Center for University Entrance Examinations. Therefore, JACTFL proposed to send a letter of request to the National Center for University Entrance Examinations to the parties concerned, and three organizations responded. The letter of request is posted here. We would like to continue to advocate for our students who are eager to learn.
