Abstract

Exploring the "SATOUMI (coastal cultural landscape) ", this research attempted to understand the way that coastal nature environment should be through viewpoint from human and tideland. First, the method of the study was interview. Second was HEP. The results are shown below.

①Concept of Residents and citizens toward to the tideland is same. Their goal in utilizing tideland for the food of the community is the same. Yet, the residents request that has economical value; the citizens request it has a more intellectual value.

②The degrease of support fence for laver culture was grown worse the Short-necked Clam's habitat. So, the tideland's value for habitat was downward tendency and impact was large.
